Jamar Adams is a former American football player who played as a safety in the NFL. He was born on September 21, 1985 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Adams played college football at the University of Michigan, where he was a key starter for the Wolverines defense.
Adams was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks in 2008 and spent two seasons with the team. He also had stints with the Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers during his NFL career. Adams was known for his hard-hitting style of play and was considered a valuable special teams contributor.
